RTA Table

This table was my college experiences biggest design triumph,and recipient of the worst critique imaginable! In a class of "Knock-Down Furniture", this table was seen as Joe-Consumer's nightmare, due to its complexity. What wasn't seen (by the teachers anyway) was the spin I wanted to put on traditional RTA furniture. The center pole telescoped inside the top and base to lock the parts together, using the tension of the outside wires for support. By removing the pole the entire table collapsed into its parts like a puzzle.

I do admit that it took a while to get it back together again......
